In the entrance hall of the Toni-Areal a 140 m2 wall is reserved for Museum's presentations.
Their imposing dimensions alone display self-confidence! Current French culture posters surprise with the freshness of their design approach. Poetic, surreal images or expressively alienated typography make them a visual big event. Photography, illustration and typography condense to form worlds of images that challenge habitual ways of seeing. The poster exhibition, however, also shows that in France fear of contact between art and graphic design hardly exists – instead these area cross fertilise each other in the loveliest way.
