(canceled)
Wednesday, 28 October, 2 – 4.30 pm
Ethical Questions in the World of Animation
Workshop for teachers of school classes from the 4th to the 10th grade, and for those intending to become teachers (students)

Unimaginable scenes in films, digital alter-egos based on human facial features and an animated universe for digital games – these all represent virtual worlds in which, increasingly, we move in our daily lives. But what are the questions, problems and possibilities that emerge from this “second” real life? And what is the relationship between the “animated” and the “real” world? What possibilities do the techniques of animation offer us in trying to understand invisible human feelings? A workshop that reflects on the phenomena of animation in day-to-day life

Directed by: Professor Suzanne Buchan, Co-Curator, Professor for Animation Aesthetics and Director of the Art and Design Research Institute (ADRI) at Middlesex University, London

Costs: CHF 25 per person (incl. admission)
