Do It Differently
What other things can you construct from a stool building kit?

In the area of design, too, “hacking” means using an object in a way not originally intended. This can mean optimizing the object or putting it together in a new way, the most important requirement is to know everything about the individual details of the original. “Do It Yourself Design” shows three different objects – a sled, a side table, a shelf – all of which were made from the same stools. In the workshop we take a closer look at the building kit for a coat rack and, together with Andreas Bhend, we construct one out of two stools for our own apartment.
