Round, shiny, light
A workshop on the material used in design objects for children aged 6 and above.
In the exhibition, objects from various different decades and materials can be seen. The material underlines the function of an object. The way it is fashioned and its colour give the object its sensory aspect. Not every object can be made from any material. A jug made of fabric would not function well, a dress made of glass would be very uncomfortable…. We experiment with various materials and produce a key ring which is eye-catching because of the unusual choice of material or one whose beauty makes it shine.
