The best poster of the week
Every Tuesday the communication team of the Museum für Gestaltung chooses the best poster of the previous week and publishes it on the website and on Instagram. The winner will receive a Victorinox pocket knife in our design and two free admission tickets for the Museum für Gestaltung. A competition week runs from Tuesday to Monday. Publication dates: 14.3., 21.3., 28.3., 4.4., 11.4., 18.4., 25.4., 2.5., 9.5., 16.5., 23.5., 30.5., 6.5.
The best poster of the month
The best poster of the month is given a duplicate of a tourism poster from our archive. Bettina Richter, Curator of the Poster Collection, chooses the winning poster each month. All those who have submitted their poster in the month in question take part in the competition. It does not matter whether this poster has already been chosen as best poster. The four competition periods: 4.3. – 31.3., 1.4. – 30.4., 1.5. – 31.5., 1.6. – 9.7.
The best poster of the entire exhibition
In summer 2017 a jury will choose the three best posters of the entire exhibition. This jury is made up of the Museum Director Christian Brändle, the Curator of the Poster Collection Bettina Richter, and Hans Estermann from Schweiz Tourismus. The winners will receive two overnight stays for two people in one of the following hotels: “Chesa Salis” in Bever, “Adler Adelboden” in Adelboden or “La Ginabelle” in Zermatt.
1st Prize: Hotel La Ginabelle in Zermatt
Two overnight stays for two persons including breakfast, entry to the spa and a wellness treatment of your choice in the 4 Star Superior Hotel La Ginabelle in Zermatt, Wallis.

2nd Prize: Hotel Chesa Salis in Bever
Two nights in a double room for two persons including breakfast and, in the evening, a four course menu in the 3 Star Superior Hotel Chesa Salis in Bever, Graubünden.
Rustic coziness and aristocratic grandezza behind meter-thick walls: in the Chesa Salis 450 years of history blend to provide a unique experience. Originally a farmhouse, later a splendid palazzo, today the buildings is a stylish hotel with 18 individual rooms – romantically furnished in stone pine, elegant in Biedermeier style or artistic with plasterwork ceilings. 3rd Prize: Hotel Adler Adelboden
Two nights for two persons including breakfast and entry to the spa area in the 3 Star Superior Hotel Adler Adelboden in the Berner Oberland.
In this rustic hotel in the heart of the village guests will be regularly treated to culinary surprises – while never neglecting local traditions. Most of the rooms have large balconies and there are particularly family-friendly rooms with a sleeping gallery. Also a delight: the panorama baths with indoor and outdoor pool.
